Lana May holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a degree in clothing and accessory design. She owned a clothing-design firm and began designing jewelry to match her evening wear. Now she teaches at her home studio, in the Phoenix area, all over the USA, Germany, and the Ukraine. She is a winner of contests of Bead & Button, CRYSTALLIZED? - Swarovski Elements, Fire Mountain Gems and Beads, etc. Her bead works are exhibited all over the world at international shows, festivals, museums (in Japan, France, Germany, the Ukraine, Russia, and at fashion weeks in the USA). Her bead works and patterns were published in various books, catalogs, and magazines in different countries over 70 times in the last 5 years. She is the author of the book "Mixed Media Jewelry Techniques".
