Colors Of The Stone Winter
Skill Level: Advanced
Tension and bead sizes play a big role in structural beadwork, and in this project you get to play with both to create this show-stopping pearl necklace! This piece uses tubular herringbone stitch with alternating bead sizes to create a structural spiral necklace with pearls that seem to "float" among the rings! Many different construction ideas are included.
Pre-requisites
You do not need to know tubular herringbone, but should be able to use tiny 15/0 seed beads and be able to hold a tight tension for extended periods.
Kit Contents
Japanese seed beads in 8/0, 11/0, and 15/0 sizes. Pearl beads in 12mm, 10mm, and 8mm, coordinating hook-eye/"S" clasp
Tools Needed
6lb Fireline or favorite beading thread, beading needle, scissors/ burner, work mat
