Clément will be coming from Belgium for just a few days in the US to teach several classes
at the Tucson Gem show.
In this one day class you’ll be making not just one, but up to four* stackable silver rings !!
Making rings with metal clay can be challenging, especially for beginners, but Clément
designed this new class so beginners as well as experienced artists can learn easy methods
to create unique metal clay rings with ease, especially as students will be granted four Ring
Maker to use during the class, an innovative tool that Clément invented to make metal clay
ring making a breeze.
You’ll learn how to use this amazing tool, and will create two round rings, a square one, as
well as an octagon.
Clément will teach you some of his favorite techniques to add unique textures to those rings,
using only a few very common tools, so you will be able to continue making rings back
home, without having to break the bank.
Clément will also teach you how to use more high end tools to obtain a perfect professional
finish in no time.
You’ll learn all you need to know about shrinkage and how to size your metal clay rings, as
well as torch firing silver clay.
Tool kit includes : 25grs of Cool Tools’s Phoenix Silver Clay, 4 Ring Makers specifically
made to your size, two acrylic work surfaces, a scalpel, an agate burnisher, and sanding
sticks. That is all you’ll need to make more rings when back home :)
