Description (including techniques & materials):
Students will learn to make a ring using two mediums wire and metal clay. This will introduce the student to basic fundamentals of metal clay ;rolling , cutting and sanding clay. Using textures and firing with a torch. Attaching fired clay to silver wire and setting a gemstone. The materials in the kit include Sterling Silver Wire, 15 Grams Project X, Sterling silver embeddable prong and choice of cultured opal or topaz.
