Tired of clunky and chunky settings in metal clay? This exciting workshop
will teach you how to fabricate sleek and clean tube settings that will make metalsmiths
do a double take.
Students will first make the tube and then cut the perfect seat in the greenware state to
fabricate a sleek tube setting to add to their ring. Then design a wide or narrow ring
around your settings.
We will go over sizing, open vs. closed bands and various textures to give your ring a
regal look. This is a fun class that will set your CZ settings apart and take your designs
to a whole new level of sparkle.
