Come learn how much fun and addictive it is to make your own fine silver charm in this make and take. We will be using PMC, precious metal clay which consists of microscopic bits of silver in an organic binder which allows the artist to easily manipulate the silver in clay-like form to make jewelry in various shapes, sizes and textures. Once fired at a high temperature, the binder is burned away leaving your silver metal piece. We will be using fine silver which is 99.9% pure silver, the same purity of silver traded in the Commodities Market.
Participants will leave with a charm weighing up to 4.5 grams depending on size and texture. Cost payable to instructor at the event. Cost covers cost of silver, use of tools, consumables, and firing services
NOTE: Students should allow time for their charm to be fired.
